Intility Lifecycle is a comprehensive service for secure, environmentally friendly, and efficient disposal of IT equipment, delivered in collaboration with our environmental partner Foxway. The service includes packaging, transport, secure data erasure, and assessment for reuse or recycling.
How the service works
Intility arranges collection of IT equipment at your location, where you fill the provided packaging yourself. The quantity and type of IT equipment determine which kind of packaging is supplied. All packaging that is sent out is designed to fit through standard doors.
After you have completed the order in the webshop, you will shortly receive an email from Foxway confirming the order and clarifying the delivery time for the packaging. Once the packaging has been received and packed, you order pickup through Intility. The equipment is collected at your site and transported to Foxway for further handling, where Foxway first performs secure data erasure and then assesses whether the equipment can be resold or recycled.
Approximately 3–5 weeks after pickup, you will receive a data erasure report with an overview of the devices and confirmed erasure, as well as any refund for equipment that has been resold. The value of the equipment is offset against the costs, and any surplus is paid out to the customer.
If you would like an estimate of cost or buyback value prior to ordering, our environmental partner needs the following information: manufacturer and model, year of production, CPU, memory, and disks with size (for servers).
For equipment that is not suitable for resale, a handling fee per device will be charged:
- For AV equipment, hard drives, mobile phones, interactive equipment, storage units, monitors, network components, laptops, desktop PCs, POS solutions, servers and tablets, the fee is NOK 150 per device.
- For printers, the fee is NOK 300 per device.

- Devices with a BIOS password have no resale value and should be unlocked in advance.
- Mobile phones and tablets must be free of user locks (no PIN/pattern/password that prevents access).
- Activation locks on mobile phones (e.g., Find My iPhone) must be disabled – otherwise, the device will be granulated.
- The equipment must be placed securely in the packaging to avoid damage. Heavy equipment should be placed at the bottom. Equipment that is damaged during transport will not have any buyback value.
- Intility is not responsible for loss of equipment or data.
